thank you!

dear ones,

thank you for your prayers and encouraging comments.  it is one
of the sweet blessings of the blog community that i have grown
to love.

the next few months hold an amazing plethora (shelby!) of happy
events.  i am singing the soprano solo in schubert's 'mass in G' on
april 3rd which will require a great deal of deliberate work.  my
optimistic conductor tends to think i can do more than i am able.

just a few short weeks after that, we will complete our mountain
cabin which will also take lots of attention  . . .  and fun.   right
now there are 12 foot high drifts of snow icing the cabin like an
extravagant wedding cake.

life is full, and i am grateful.

love,
lea

I just googled and listened to Schubert's Mass in G - Oh my, how beautiful and what a delight your soprano must be.

Your icing snow drifts are amazing, too. Don't worry, Spring's not far off.

Love,
Dawn

May God grant you good health and rest as you prepare to sing such an amazing piece for His glory! (and I hope we'll get a cabin tour--or at least a peek--this summer!)

Praising God in the highest for gifting you with a voice for Schubert. I pray that this mountain cabin is a place where that "rest" can happen often and regularly, Lea. Thank you for your comment to me about "rest". We all are in need of that rest in the loving and comforting arms of Jesus.

Is that really your cabin!!??? Wow ... that is a LOT of snow!!! I'm impressed ... and a little afraid.

And singing a soprano solo? Wow ... that is even more impressive. I'm sure your conductor wouldn't have you do it if he/she didn't think you would excel!

If I didn't think you're so sweet,
I'd be jealous of that cabin. What
a joy to have a place like that to
go and relax. Of course, we can
have His peace and relax anywhere.
Right?
You will do very well as you sing
your solo and bring glory to God
in the process.
Did you see my little guy yet?
The new post is about him.
Love,
Sandy

Life sounds so busy and full and wonderful for you. You are enjoying it and not taking any of it for granted, I am certain. Now, like Dawn, I'm going to Google the song and see what a wonderful piece of music you are practicing.

LEA!!!! THAT MOUNTAIN OF SNOW...it looks like the one outside my new French doors in our GARDEN! But, we had a great thaw yesterday and due for another today so my mountain is slowly dripping away! Thank you dearest for visiting me; I do hope your Valentines was a glorious one. You are singing, eh? HOW LOVELY! That is one thing I cannot do! Have a blast and enjoy all the beauty! Anita

One thing I love is a person of influence who thinks you can do more than you can, because they're usually right. You can do it! I wish I could be there to hear it!

A mountain cabin makes me swoon. I am not at all a beach girl. Give me the mountains any day! What a great place you'll have there. Enjoy! And I love your descriptive wording about the wedding cake. You are crazy skilled with the words. :)
