Oh you have musical talent in your family, of course you are a proud mama. My oldest son's band has their first CD release next week.
So glad to see the update!!! How awesome..I didn't know your son sang also...that is awesome! I will also send it on my to kids, they are all big music people...they play, sing and attend all music venues.
Thanks for the update...and enjoy it Proud Mother!!!
Your heart must be bursting with joy! I can't think of anything that would bring more happiness to a mother's heart than this.
I hope someday when she's on a world tour, that this little blink of an eye town is blessed with her presence.
Did Sunday Lane ever consider trying out for American Idol? Well, no matter. She's an American Idol anyway, in her own right...
How cool is that!! How exciting for all of you. I bet you're a proud momma! :D
I will go check it out!
(Who says deaf people don't enjoy music too?)
She is lovely, by the way...
That's wonderful. Does she have a
CD coming soon? And what's the name of Max's band?
You have every right to be proud, mom! Thank you for sharing this!
I am so excited to see this, and just went over and listened to her sing again!
Why do I feel like I had a little part in all of this?? cuz I hit those keys and voted over and over and I have the cologne to prove it!! :)
GO SUNDAY LANE!!! I still love your voice, and you are going to go places girlfriend!!
xo
I visited the link and listened to her song with my 13 yr old dtr.....beautiful!!
My dtr kept asking me..."who is that guy?' is that her brother?" inquiring minds want to know :-)
Lovely dtr!

I know you are very proud of your children! I love Sunday's voice! I know she will go far! Carla
Just beautiful. Your post to your daughter, her voice...her...just beautiful. What wonderful mom moments your are experiencing...each one of our children expand our hearts to the point of bursting, huh?
WOW!!!! Not only talented but beautiful too! And I didn't know about your singer son! You're just crankin' out musical prodigies over there, Lea. LOL!
A gal never has to apologize for being a proud mama. How many musical talents do you have in the family? Several from what I'm reading. All the best!
What a very nice thing for her big brother to do. It just goes to show that the fruit doesn't fall very far from the tree. Sweet Mama=sweet kids.
I would be bursting my buttons. :)
Proud Mama- You should be! Impressive and wonderful!!!
Oh sweet Lea,
How VERY exciting!!! What a musical family you have...so much talent!
Ya, you know that "Oh, I'm so H*A*P*P*Y that spring has come home" post that I just laid on all of you girls......Well, IT'S SNOWING right now....AHHHHHHH!!!!!Oh well. Have missed you (and all the ladies) so much. I just don't have the time I used to. Not really even sure where it went,...but it is for sure gone :(
It seems like I am working like a crazy woman to get things done. Am gearing up for a bit of knee surgery next week, so am trying to get "all my ducks in a row". Maybe this is God's way of saying "Slow Down"...ahhhhh, I am ready to take a breath :)
Congratulations again! You better have a front row seat!...xoxo...Rosie
There is nothing happier than a proud mama.
Congratulations to Sunday. She is so talented, I am not surprised that she was asked to open.
I think that the happiness of our children is priceless.
Karen
You have some strong talent in your DNA to produce two such children! What fun!! Congratulations to them both! And also, can I say how sweet and exceedingly precious it is that he asked her to open up for him! Makes my heart swell. :)
What joy to watch such a lovely, gifted child using the talent gifted to her. No wonder you're a proud mama. Those pleasant places don't get much better, do they?
Blessings,
Kathleen
You should be proud...she is so talented. I just finished listening to her ...I carry her cd you sent me around in my van and crank up the volume..xoxoxoo hugs today my friend and thanks again.
Indeed the musical talent is strong in your family, Miss Lea! How wonderful!!
Love,
Leslie
That is so awesome!!
I had to come back and let you know what happened after we listened to your stunning dtr via the link you left.
My dtr, who loves to sing and has since she was an itty bitty thing was inspired again. She not only listened to the song but bought three songs off of amazon. Then that night she sat and wrote out a song, something she had not done in a while (she's been writing a story - she's always busy) and for the next few days she's been singing the three songs she bought of Sunday Lane's. I could probably sing you the songs by heart now as I've heard them over and over and over :-)
Just wanted to pass on what an impact your sweet blog, dtr and music had on my dtr. Thank you for encouraging her by example to sing to the Lord!

Thank you for stopping by Spots and Wrinkles and taking the time to leave a comment.
You are right, in that there is a time and place for both performance art and for worship. But likely not the SAME time and place. :) Congratulations on your children's musical success.
Marsha
Cool! I've even heard of the Viper Room ... that is where River Phoenix died I think. (Not exactly a great association but still .. I've heard of it.)
Well now tell us how it went! I sent her link to all my kids to hear...how fun!
Very, very cool, Lea. You have every right to be so proud and happy! She has a very unique sound, and I mean unique in a good way! I'm a few days late here commenting. I hope her Viper Room show went well.
