"Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; You have
made my lot secure. the boundary lines have fallen for me in

A mess whether in your home is bound to happen with children, pets and even I make a mess. It changes from time to time and never make a mole hill into a mHave a great weekendountain.
I love houses filled with kids!!! It just makes your house look nice and homey.
And you are clearly delighted to have your house all cluttered up with kids. Look at all those laptops.
I guess the clutter never ends ... it just gets more expensive!
I am never sure how it happens.. but I can have this entire house clean, and with in minutes... "my people" can walk through and WHAM!!! Guess it happens to the best of folks. ha

Wow, your house looks like mine with all of that music equipment! I used to think that their little toys cluttered up the house. Now, I have keyboards, guitars, mics and stands, and amps all over the place. But the great thing about that is the house full of music that comes along with those things. Carla
For those of us without children, that clutter looks very nice indeed.
Cozy indeed.
You're so right....the clutter changes, but it is always there. Wouldn't have it any other way! :)
and guess what... our 6 grandkids just left after spending the night! Our rooms around here made YOUR rooms look like an organized haven! Isn't it great??!! We had a ball, and I know you are too!!
xo
I have to laugh at this..my home exactly!!!! But I am thinking I may have a bit more clutter..you should see their rooms!!! Oh the Joy..really I am loving it.
Happy happy Friday sweet one. xoxo
i bet you're lovin' all the mess since it means you get to love on your family!
the package arrived! oh my goodness - such adorableness!!! everything is so sweet and perfect for lil' miss sage! i can't wait to have "mommy and me" cooking/baking time with her while wearing the aprons. you are so thoughtful and sweet! you put a big, gigantic, huge smile on my face. thank you again and again! they will be keepsakes for sage!
I thought things got better as they got older...oh dear...
Best wishes,
Natasha.

I will think of this the next time I find a lone Polly Pocket shoe in my refrigerator...or trip over the line-up of stuffed animals in my living room floor...or my bare foot steps into a small pile of cracker crumbs... :)
Those laptops all over the kitchen table made me laugh out loud. My oh my how things have changed!
Love the chaos of company! Joyful!
Enjoy your weekend, Lea!
I asked our music minister's wife if it would get any easier when our 4 boys got older (mine are 1.5, 4, 6 and 8...her boys are all in junior high and high school). She tossed her head back and laughed, "No, it changes...but it doesn't get easier. But, they do get big enough to clean their own bathroom!" Yeehaw, for that, at the very least!
I hear you on this one!!! When the kids were little, their clutter was atleast a little smaller...:)
Hey, you gotta love them! Well, you don't gotta....you wanna, and JUST DO love them!!
Enjoy your weekend!
Happy pretty Friday...:)

Hilarious!
Welcome home kiddos!!
Lea, The scripture reference to your portion and your "cup" is spot on, because the tea sets being relegated to the floor behind your table to make for ducklings - uugh, I mean keyboards - made me laugh.
Picking up after teens is infinately more complicated than picking up after our toddlers, isn't it.
Loved this post.

Hi. The mess in your house sure looks very expensive.:-) I guess, with children, a home can never be without messes. I love the bible verses you put in all your posts. Thanks for sharing.:-)
Bonjour Lea,
thank you for sharing such a beautiful verse!
I can completely understand about the clutter.. music instruments, electronics, books and toys (dogs toys too!); however, I wouldn't have it any other way =)
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
xoxo, B
