time to fight

dear emily,

this will make me late for church, but i feel such an urgency to get
these prayer needs out.   i think it's funny that just a few days ago
i was questioning when to fight and when to yield.   it sure feels
like the Spirit is leading me to fight now.

if you feel led to agree with the prayer below, i know their loved
ones would be grateful.   you can also visit each blog to find more
about each situation.

--baby samuel

--dave

--scott (don't let teri's amazingly upbeat personality fool you.
she's dead serious about licking this cancer.)

--my friend bizy, whose 23 year old daughter was killed in a car
crash.

"out of the depths i cry to you, o Lord;
o Lord hear my voice.
let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy . . .

praise the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all his benefits
towards baby samuel, dave, scott, and bizy--
who forgives all their sins and heals all their diseases,

who redeems their lives from the pit
and crowns them with love and compassion,

who satisfies their desires with good things
so that their youth is renewed like the eagle's."
(psalm 130:1 and 103:1-5)

in Jesus' sweet and powerful name,
lea

Totally agree...I have been praying for your friend, the family and all the young people at the funeral.
Our God is a mighty God and He hears the prayers of His saints...agreeing with you in prayer and adding them to my prayer list.
Blessings...and Thank you Lord for hearing our request and for the answers that are being sent even right now.

There is power in the prayer of
agreement. I agree with you and
the others that God will meet
these precious ones you have
brought our attention to here.
May His peace surround them
like a shield and His strength
be made perfect in their weakness.
May the Holy Spirit comfort and
guide as only He can in the name
above all other names, Jesus
Christ.
Love,
Sandy

Each has such a compelling story and an urgent need. Jesus meets us right there in those moments. This I know. Thank you for providing the links. (Couldn't bring myself to comment at them because I have never before visited; it feels like an intrusion.) Keep us posted.

Praying right now Lea, for these requests, for each person involved. God knows every single need of their hearts. What a comfort.

Thank you for sharing so we can all join together to pray for them.

Praying Lea! I have actually meditated on this very scripture just recently. There are so many people hurting in this world. Thank God, there is a better life coming. I will remember each of these prayer requests. Carla

As I clicked to each of these blogs and read of their heartache, I couldn't help but think of the myriads of other bloggers/families we don't know about going through similar circumstances. The comforting thing is that God not only knows about each family enduring these trials but knows every single detail and is there for those who call on Him.

It is my privilege to pray for Samuel, Dave, and Scott and Bizy's family.

A perfect message for a day self doubt.

You have strengthened my resolve in a horrible situation...

And strenghtened my resolve to continue to turn my focus outside of myself where it can do good for others.

Hugs and blessings for that.

Honey I am the first person to agree that prayers are amazing. They should be put out here for all of us more on our sites. I certainly know that they work.
Thanks for sharing now I have to catch up with you while I am here

Hi Lea,

How are you doing?
Oh that was heart breaking news ..hope her soul rest in please and let god bless her..

And for your friend family , god give them the power to overcome from this loss.

I know its not going to be easy as I have seen in my family too its very hard atually next to impossible to forget someone when its the daughter or sister or brother or anyone in family ..is always there in mind till lifetime..only the smiling face memories ..that all we are left with.

Hope and wish ..God do give them something to overcome from it.

Will definitely pray for the happiness and peace.

Take care
with Love

I believe in the power of God through prayer.
Let's not demonstrate unbelief by limiting what He can do (through what we pray for).
He can do anything!
Thanks for the wonderful post.

I am catching up on my favorite blogs today, and I saw this mention of Scott...thank you so much. I will pray for the others mentioned.

God has been doing some real heart miracles around our house. He is changing us all and blessing us in abundance as we go through our difficulties. He is good...all the time!
