bumper stickers

what is the deal with people who feel the need to put a gazillion
bumper stickers on their cars?   my response to the various ones
is completely dependent on my hunger.

for instance, after a lovely walk at the river with one of my funny
friends, i will feel magnanimous toward the little white truck who
passes me.   if he then tells me to 'co-exist,' i will be more than
happy to do so.

if, however, i am an hour past my lunch hour and a red camaro
cuts in front of me at wendy's drive through, i will not be very
interested in 'co-existing.'  my temptation will be to tell him that
i really don't have a choice.   he has forced his existence on me
and made me wonder whether my existence is even on his radar.

what if, instead of on our cars, we had bumper stickers on our
'bumpers?'  most of them would probably read: "i exist for me."
mine might say, "no, i have not missed any meals."

what would you like your 'bumper' sticker to say?

love,
lea

I brake for Tim Horton's or If you can read this, you're too close.

You come up with the best topics for posts. I don't use any bumper stickers myself. I don't want anyone to be persuaded by what I do right or what I do wrong. ;D

John 3:16 for my bumper sticker, thank you.
Sometimes the bumper stickers I see make me laugh, silly ones.

whirled peas... think about it!

I generally don't do bumper stickers or tee shirts with sayings. But I was tempted with the above saying!

Thanks for stopping by!

Okay, I have thought and thought about a bumper sticker. I just couldn't think of one. I really don't like them, I would never put one on my car. :)

Good morning! Oh your soo right. Bumper stickers are just soo ridiculous sometimes...We had one once with the name of my daughter's travel ball team on it, as the coach pretty much insisted, haha...If I wore one around on my behind it might read..."I'm working on it..." Have a wonderful day!

My favorite at the moment is "LAX Mom," but I don't have it. I'm afraid if I did, I'd be revealing more than what sport my son plays! ;)

"This bumper sticker adds 10 pounds."

I have always thought it best not to put Christian stickers on my car because I find I'm hungry way too often when I'm behind the wheel. ;-)

My favorite bumper sticker was on my car I had in high school (which was a hand me down from my grandparents): "This car constipated. Won't pass a thing." : )

I read this post the other day and didn't comment then because I wanted to think about what I would want my bumper sticker to say. I've decided on

"Poetry is everywhere"
