treasure in a month

dear emily,

it has been one month since i have written a word here, and i am
completely refreshed.  there is an amazing enrichment from rest.
the Lord grafted it into each week, but we seldom take advantage
of it.

the schubert "mass in G" concert went surprisingly well, consi-
dering we were still working out some glitches during our warm
up.   i wanted someone to shoot me right before to put me out of
my misery.  imagine the epitaph:  "her nerves done her in" . . .
or "she died because of the 'mass'. "

it was so fun of you to come.  when i would look up and see you
holding that sweet, precious baby, it made my heart sing sweeter.
as i spied shelby suppressing the wiggles of #3, it brought  the
perfect distraction from my nerves.

love,
lea

Well welcome back...I do wonder if the day you were on my mind all day was the day you sang. Everything in me wanted to just drive to OK, and now I see you have already done it. I kept picturing myself just being there and hearing you...even if you didn't know I was there, well I was in prayers!

I am sure heaven applauded.

So glad you are back for a bit, I was wondering how your singing went and if your lovely house in the mountains was finished. I really did miss you sweet thoughts and your little comments and your little blog. So glad you enjoyed your rest.
I was looking at Doppler just now, my sister is in a tornado path and I was hoping you were safe too.

Well hello my dear Lea. Yes it has been far too long, since our last chit chat. After reading a few comments, I am gathering that you were singing like a song bird...So this is where your baby birds come by their talent :)
Glad to hear you are refreshed and ready to enjoy whatever He has planned.
I am on the road to recovery, but it is taking ever so long. Am moving far too slowly for all that is on my "to do" list, but in my next breath, I will say with all sincerity, that I am grateful for many things...my wonderful staff is near the top of that list. They are keeping the shop running smoothly and enable me to bask in the spring goodness that is finally making an appearance...Such a JOY to hear from you...xoxox...Rosie

Welcome back from your rest! It is a good reminder that we all need to step away from time to time.
