urgent prayer request

dear ones,

it is with such a heavy heart that i request your anointed prayers.
the son of one of my closest friends has been missing for almost
three days.  we are beside ourselves with worry and heartache.

if you would pray for his safe return and leave a word of comfort
for his sweet mom, i would be so thankful.

"suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.
does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country to go after
the lost sheep until he finds it?  and when he finds it, he joyfully
puts it on his shoulders and goes home.

then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'rejoice
with me; i have found my lost sheep.'  i tell you that in the same
way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who
repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not
need to repent."  luke 15:4-7

gratefully,
lea

Oh shivers are going up my spine..yes, praying right now.
Heavenly Father you know where this child is I pray that you will bring light to his surrounds so that he may be found.
I pray for safety. I pray for supernatural wisdom to know where the child is. I pray that all of this will be for your Glory
I pray for peace to the family...the peace that passes all understand.
Where one can send a thousand to flight, as we all join in prayer may millions of warring angels be released to war in the child and the family's behalf. Deut. 32:30

God, please help this sweet mom to remember that Psalm 139 says that you know where we are at all times, that there is no where that we can run to that you are not right there. Help her to know confidently that you are with her son...that you are able to protect him, that you are able to constantly remind him where he should be, that you were with him even as he was being formed in her womb. You know that son's thoughts before he has them and you have known each of his days before he was born.

Please take care of all of the details that will bring this son home. Rescue him speedily (Psalm 31:2) and bring this mom some peace.

Praying for his safe return. Is he a child, or a young man? Please give us some more info so we'll be able to pray more effectively.

Thanks.

My prayers, added to the others...
Lord, have mercy. Reach this boy, keep him safe, may he return home, call home. Keep, the way only You can, this family in your hands.

May they know your peace and your presence in their hour of despair. Touch them, comfort them. May each one turn to you in trust, that you might show yourself to be mighty in thier circumstances.

Be merciful oh, Lord, I pray.

Dear Lea,

I am so blessed by your seeking heart. It sounds like the Lord is working ... He can turn this to good. I hope that He does very soon! For all of you!

My post is not a song. It is a collaboration of scripture. It was my meditation that morning. Most of it comes from Luke chapter 2 NKJV. I love the hi-lighted words. They inspire me.

Gonna keep praying until I hear a good report! Believing for the best!

Love ya!

Oh how scarey, Lea! Even tho I don't know this friend of yours, all of us as mothers can identify and imagine what it would be like to have a missing child. I'm lifting them and the family up right now to the Lord and praying that he will show up. May the Lord bless and keep her son safe and sound and protected until he can be reunited with his family again. And may the Lord surround your friend and the family with love and faith while they wait. I pray it's very soon!!!

Good morning, Lea! Woke in the night and prayed. I have a 22 year old son, I know how I would be feeling. One of our sons was missing for awhile. It was a horrible time! He was about that age. Thank the Lord, all is well with him now.
Praying as one who has been there!
