I certainly will. God be with her. Mission work is so important and surely fulfilling. I admire missionaries so much.

I pray for Hailey right now. Oh Lord, may this be a time of great learning and personal growth for Hailey. Make her a blessing to all those she comes in contact with and all those she is going to serve, the Brazilians and the missionaries. I pray that she would get a glimpse of the world the way You see each and every one. That she would see that no sacrifice is too great for you; that separation is part of the cost and that You know exactly what she is going through. May her heart be united in a deeper and lasting way with Your own. Comfort her when she is down or lonely. May You be her strong tower that she can run to in time of need. Place Your loving, protective arms around her. Give her family peace - and joy, and gratitude that she has chosen what is good - obedience to her Saviour in joyful service to Him!

My son Caleb spent a lot of time in Brazil doing mission work. He loved it there! The Lord is moving mightily in that land. May the Lord bless Hailey's time there.

Carol from Brazil stayed with our family this summer. Caleb met her family while he was in Brazil. She stayed with us while she was in the USA. We got to meet a sister in the Lord because Caleb ventured into ministry to make an eternal difference. He went there and she came here ... She calls me "mom" ... Blessed be the tie that binds ...

Praying that blessings will overflow from seeds planted by Hailey in this season.

Many blessings,
Cheri

Definitely Lea .. Hailey will be in my prayers every night that she will continue to be strong and courageous in the face of what she may encounter; that she remain safe and healthy; that this experience will strengthen her faith even more and that she return home safe and full of inspiration for others to follow her lead!!

What area of Brazil will Hailey be in? How long will she be there? My dear friend what an incredible young lady you have raised. I have a couple of friends who live in Brazil and I also sponsor a little girl through Plan Canada. I aware only too well of the need for Mission work there.

Blessings..HHL

Yes, I'm delighted to pray for Hailey and her mission trip...I'll pray for her health and discernment and her family back home. God bless you all while she is away!

(Wow...did this bring back memories from ancient times. My sister spent a summer on a mission trip in Brazil in 197%. I still sing some of the songs she taught me in Portuguese. I like to fake out the grands. ;>)

What an amazing opportunity for Hailey! Praying for her protection while she's so far away and that she will be a shining light for Christ, as he will undoubtedly draw her closer to him through this time.

And praying for her mom and dad, who I know must be filled with a full spectrum of mixed emotions. ;-)

Love,
Margaret

Excited for your daughter as she embarks on this adventure...
On a less serious note, seven years ago my daughter went on a 3 month mission trip, and when she least expected it, she met her future husband! You just never known what God has in store for those that follow His leading :).

Hailey is going to Brazil? AWESOME! We have two Compassion children there, and hope to visit them someday.

I will keep Hailey in my prayers. How proud you must be! I remember my own daughter's first mission trip years ago. Nothing is more precious to a mom's heart than when God calls her children in service to Him. Blessings and joy on Hailey on her missions trip!

Yikes! Right when you emailed about the rain, Rockwall was sitting under a tornado alert for the next 10 minutes! It was a little scary... some of these weather events sure make me know that God is a BIG God!! Just looking at the sky outside during the past hour puts awe in your heart in a hurry!
Now it's all calm again and even some blue sky :)
Thanks for the offer! It goes both ways :)

What a lovely send off for a brave and wonderful girl.

I have added her to my prayer list.

And am sending you a hug. Even when they're growing up wonderfully, it's still hard letting them go.
