pretty little chick

every friday, joyce at pretty things has a party for everyone to share
their favorite pretty things.  i never participate in these fun parties,
because i don't now how to take pictures. :(

however, my daughter, sunday lane, the first little chick to hop back
into the nest, was sharing some of her pictures with me.  so, in honor
of her return and in light of the fact that she is by far the prettiest thing
at my house right now, here's a pretty chick:

p.s. CHECK OUT SUNDAY LANE'S NEWEST SONG:
become her fan on facebok: sundaylane :)

Would you believe that I still remember Sunday as a little baby girl with big blue eyes and curly blonde hair sitting in her high chair in the kitchen of your old house? You are going to enjoy every precious minute of her being home with you again!

PRETTY, PRETTY, PRETTY!
My Goodness! Sunday Lane is just as beautiful as her name!

I am so happy that you joined my little party today and learned how to post a picture!

I didn't realize that your "how to" question was how to post a picture on your blog. I thought that you were asking how to put your picture on my blog. Anyway...so glad that you played

ENJOY your beautiful Sunday Lane!!!
Love,
Joyce

Wow Lea.. Sunday is a beauty!

They say 'the nut doesn't fall far from the tree'... so maybe she gets her beautfy from her mom!

Enjoy having her around, as I know you do. Our 3 came and went for a while, not as much now, as they all have their own 'chicks', but oh do we love it when we're all together!

Happy Mothers Day!

Sadly, you'll not be able to find those vintage books in a regular bookstore. Perhaps ABE books?
